INSTRUCTIONS AND ADVICE 

  remove the tick as soon as possible
  avoid squeezing the tick
  do not twist the tick gently pull it straight out
  clean the area of skin where the tick was attached

  clean the tick remover


Always examine a tick bite regularly for a while after,

and contact your doctor if you:                   

  notice a red patch on the skin around the tick bite  

   that is more than 5 cm in diameter
  become ill after a tick bite with headaches, fever,     

   muscle pains, joint pains, or other symptoms for

   which there is no reasonable explanation
